About Minnamurra
Minnamurra is a small coastal Village on the northern outskirts of Kiama about 115km south of Sydney. Minnamurra, the adjoining residential suburb of Kiama Downs and the nearby historic town of Jamberoo, are linked by the picturesque Minnamurra River which meanders from the Jamberoo Valley to its mouth where it flows into the ocean.
What we do
The Minnamurra Lions Club is a service organisation and its members deliver a wide range of services to community members and community organisations in a friendly and collegiate club environment. The club raises funds through a variety of ways and monies raised are donated back to the community to assist individuals and groups such as charities, schools and community support organisations. At times, the club has the ability to offer direct assistance to meet the needs of individuals and community groups who are unable to get help through other means.
A chance to meet
The Minnamurra Lions Club meets several times a month with a dinner at a local venue. This gives club members the chance to socialise, cover club business and enjoy interesting presentations from guest speakers. The club is bound by a constitution that clearly sets out our goals and operating guidelines but the Minnamurra club is also quite an informal group that cherishes fellowship amongst its members and this is reflected in our meetings.
