On Wednesday 20th November 2024, the Minnamurra Lions Club celebrated the 25th anniversary of its Charter. On this day back in 1999, the club was officially launched at a formal dinner at Jamberoo Valley Lodge. The fledgling club, which was sponsored by the Lions Club of Kiama, had 32 members.

Looking back through the archives, one cannot help but notice the fact that nearly 90 Lions have been members of the club since its inception. Of the original Charter Members, 9 were in attendance at the anniversary dinner.
