In October, the Club helped out a local business by running a sausage sizzle.

The local Enhance fuel outlet and Fletch & Co. convenience store in Collins Street Kiama had been closed for some time for a major refurbishment and upgrade. The grand re-opening on the 21st of October, saw many locals and visitors alike flock to the re-opening for a look at the new premises and a chance for a one-off offer of cheap fuel and a Lions Club sausage sandwich.

In return, Park Fuel, which is the parent company of both Enhance and Fletch & Co., offered to make a donation to the Club. This donation will go directly back to support community organisations and people in need.

In addition, Enhance has offered to sponsor the Club by providing bags of ice for the Club’s BBQs which it conducts most months of the year to raise funds to support community initiatives.
