A late request from Kiama Council saw Event Coordinator – Roger Millburn and Club President, Bill Lyon agreeing to assist Council with this worthwhile event. The Club’s involvement included supervising poster delivery, traffic management, stall holder supervision, running a BBQ for patrons and an entry donation collection.

Fourteen Club members assisted on the day from an early start at 6.00am until the close of the Event at 12 noon although light rain out a damper on things and some of the 85 stallholders bailed out early. In all, the event raised upwards of $1,000 towards the funds that the Club will be able to donate back to worthy community causes.

Thanks to the team from Kiama Council including Josephine St John and Guy Stearn who worked with the Club to ensure the event was a success and to Council for donating plants for local residents to enhance the gardens in the municipality.
