On Monday 3rd August 2026, the Minnamurra Lions Club worked alongside staff from Kiama High School and Kiama Municipal Council to feed the throng of young high school students participating in National Tree Day, 2026. Students from Year 7 planted hundred of trees across 5 locations in the area and they all converged on Kendall’s Beach for a well-earned sausage sizzle to cap off their day.
